Preparing students for the world of work

Because our curriculum has been shaped by both our academic and industry partners, it places equal emphasis on academic and technical excellence.

All students will study both engineering and construction until after they have completed Key Stage 4 with GCSEs and BTEC Certificates.

Employer-led projects

Designed in conjunction with world-leading industry experts, all Sir Simon Milton Westminster UTC students will be involved in projects that have a real relevance – both academically and technically.

Students will learn first-hand from employers (from Year 12 onwards they’ll even benefit from having an employer mentor) and will gain invaluable problem-solving, teamworking and communication skills.
