Part of the original St George’s Row School that was opened in 1898 is being preserved in our new UTC building. The date stone was removed carefully during demolition of the old school and is being incorporated into the new college. ‘The Sir Simon Milton Westminster UTC will continue the tradition of high quality technical education on the site.’ said Karen Barker, Principal Designate, ‘and it is fitting that we are keeping the link to the past.’
The photo shows a view of the building when it was part of the Westminster Adult Education Service.
